After sending large-sized New Year's postcards for a few years, Takahashi designed the postcard in the image of a smaller "queue ticket" this time.

"5" is the halfway point of 0-9 or 1-10, so Takahashi put a reversed "5" on the flip side.

She also used a light-reflective paper to express the number being a "point of reflection" and captured the atmosphere of the time.
