"+S"　TANGRAM MEMOPAD (2001)

The TANGRAM MEMOPAD was created as a product of a collaborative original brand of MASAMI DESIGN and Spiral Market in Aoyama. It made the debut together with CONSTELLATION CARD.

"+S" is Spiral's brand theme for a collection of Spiral products (S) which adds (+) something to spice up everyday life, for which Takahashi was asked to design goods.

After deciding that stationery would be a good place to start, Takahashi produced the TANGRAM MEMOPAD as part of the MASAMI TAKAHASHI + Spiral original brand.

The tangram is said to be a Chinese game dating back 4,000 years, and Takahashi turned it into an amusing game/memo pad. Memo sheets in seven shapes can be arranged in an infinite number of combinations, and can also be used as notes. For example, how about a note in the shape of a cat, with a message from a mother saying, "Here's your snack. I'll be back at this time, so please wait for me"? Her child would love it! This is stationery which fosters creativity and adds joyful inspiration to your life.
