A tie and a scarf were designed for the Planetary Congress of the Association of Space Explorers, where former astronauts from around the world gather, to commemorate the occasion of Japan serving as the host country for the first time. They were presented to the former astronauts who visited Japan for the meeting by Dr. Mamoru Mohri, a veteran of space missions.

The tie and the scarf had the names of astronauts from different countries and were designed with an image of the universe.
